First of all, the gas blowback mechanism has been improved and Tokyo Marui has installed equivalent of custom valve to this new Desert Eagle. The purpose of the custom valve is to release more gas thus increasing the power. Marui's blowback mechanism is more suited to large pistols, so Desert Eagle's frame is good proving ground. The increased consumption of gas is compensated by larger gas tank in new upgraded magazine. The new magazine also houses more BBs than before (27). Marui has also obtained license for the Desert Eagle and the comical 'Dezart Eagle' has been replaced with real markings.
